    Unanswered: stupid northwind question

I have installed MS SQL server eval edition and read through a lot of BOL, just about got my head around users and authentication etc and have a pretty good grounding on db design and architecture.

I now want to mess around with the sample databases a bit to get used to the SQL server interface before I start creating new ones etc but beyond random simple queries that I make up i'm struggling with what to do. I'm sure there are some microsoft tutorials based on the northwind and pubs databases I just cant seem to find any anywhere.

    Any suggestions greatfully recieved, Cheers

    Dan

Thanks Satya, those links have been invaluable and got me this far, but I am having difficulty finding things to do specifically related to the sample databases.
No major problem, I guess I'll just start with my own database as theres no better way to learn than jumping in at the deep end!

    Yes and no...

Do you want to gen all of the relationship, constraints and data?

Northwind is perfect to check stuff out....

    Use it all the time...

I even use it to create new stuff...just make sure to clean up after yourself...

    Oh and buy a book.....
