Unanswered: Sql Server Performance Condition Alert Missing

    I have a SQL 2000 sp3 installation on a Active - Active
cluster. I wanted to create a performance alert, but when
I tried, the Sql Server Performance Condition Alert choice
is missing from the drop down menu on the new alert setup screen. Does anyone know why? Any help will be greatly
    appreciated.

I tried that and got the following error.

    Server: Msg 14262, Level 16, State 1, Procedure sp_verify_performance_condition, Line 46
The specified object_name ('SQLServeratabases') does not exist.

Try using LODCTR function to get them from

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Binn\sqlctr.ini

Unloaded and reloaded the counters by running the following commands on the active node:unlodctr mssqlserver$virtualservername
    lodctr <\\virtualservername> g:\mssql7\binn\sqlctr.ini

Also check values for the following registry keys :
    [hklm\software\microsoft\windows nt\current version\perflib\009]
    [hklm\system\currentcontrolset\services\mssqlserver \performance]
