Unanswered: Row Source Date parameter SQL

I am trying to enter a date parameter (Dim ZDate as Date) in the Row Source Property of an Access Report.
    (Database = SQL Server 2000)

    ROW SOURCE =
    Exec sp_Test '2004/1/1' ... this works
    Exec sp_Test ????? ... how do I pass ZDate?

Are you attempting to use a passthrough query?

If you are set the source property of the local passthrough quiey's name and in the passthrough query's SQL property you need to hash the string like .SQL = "exec sp_test '" & ZDate & "'"

This will make the string like your first example - which is the correct way to pass in a date var.

I'm trying to set the OLE Chart Control Row source property. Not sure whether it accepts the & and double quote, as it is giving me errors.
