    Unanswered: Monitoring oracle Database

    hi all,

    How to monitor per user CPU utilization in oracle. For example i have 2 oracle users i want to monitor per user CPU utilization.Oracle Enterprise manager gives overall CPU utilization but not per user CPU usage.'

    try

    select * from v$sesstat t, v$statname s, v$session e
    where t.STATISTIC# = s.STATISTIC#
    and name='CPU used by this session'
    and t.sid = e.sid

    this works on 9i, may need to change the string on other versions

    Oracle problem

    Hi,
    Well i tried to run this query but this didnt give me results ..I logged in with one of the oracle users and ran this query in the system level and didnt get any reults ..I gor some results but i could not see any of my oracle users.The users which i created can u help me

    Check this query. I use it more often and i get the result i need.
