    Exclamation Unanswered: order by... nulls last in pl/sql

    Hi,
    I am trying to use the clause
    ORDER BY ABC NULLS LAST

    I am getting error in this.

    However, this thing is working fine in SQL.

    Please help.

    Unfortunately, the PL/SQL engine always lags behind the SQL engine with new features (before 10G anyway). Your version of Oracle doesn't support NULLS LAST in PL/SQL.

    A work-around would be ORDER BY NVL(ABC,???)

    Replace ??? by whatever value would sort higher than all the non-null values in your data.
