Unanswered: Refresh Browser in a window Foxpro 2.6a

    Hello,

    The question is this.
I have made a browse in a windon.
Now i have "SET REFRESH TO 0,0" because i have some network performance issues. But i want the users to have an option to force a refresh. This is wath i tryed:

    PROCEDURE myRefresh
    SET REFRESH TO 1,1
    WAIT WINDOW "Refresh!" TIMEOUT (2*1)
    SET REFRESH TO 0,0
    RETURN

It refreshes my cached table but i have to go manualy (arrow up/down) to refresh my browser in the window.

    I tryed
    SHOW GETS
    ACTIVATE WINDOW qobrowse

Anyone a option that i can try??

    Thanx in advance

The thing is, when you're setting there on a record, it is cached or buffered basically, waiting for you to make a change. Until you move off that record, the change won't get committed, or the record won't refresh.
Try using UNLOCK ALL along with your SHOW GETS, or maybe a BROWSE LAST.

I found how to do it.
Not a nice way but it works.

    SET REFRESH TO 1,1
    DO refresh.spr
    WAIT WINDOW "Refresh!" TIMEOUT (1*1)
    SET REFRESH TO 0,0

And refresh.spr is a dummy that screen that immediatly is closed in its when.

    Thanx for your help
