I wrote in a previous message.. here to con't...

I have the following UnionQuery as follows:

ACCSUM.....INSPNAME.....strDate...........Pass
1..........PF12.........1/22/2004.........Accept
6..........PF80.........1/23/2004.........Accept
7..........PF16.........2/29/2004.........Accept
3..........PS12.........2/2/2004..........Rejects
9..........PS22.........3/01/2004.........Accept
1..........PS15.........8/22/2004.........Rejects

Now I need a form which will return the records asked for, through dates..
I also need a combo field on my form.. which will let me filter out some results..

In the example above.. the combo field would list: PF and PS

From the above example this is ultimately how the program should run
================================================== ==================

When the user opens the form.. he puts in the dates to pull which records he wants to see..

ie..

1/01/2004 thru 3/01/2004

and in the combo field.. the user chooses..

PS

Results would be
================
3..........PS12.........2/2/2004..........Rejects
9..........PS22.........3/01/2004.........Accept
3..........PS12.........2/2/2004..........Rejects

"3..........PS12.........2/2/2004..........Rejects" Is on there twice because..

When the user puts in the information on the form.. it pulls back all records between those dates and compares
that with whats inside the combo field.. which in this case is PS..

(which pulls back these records..)
3..........PS12.........2/2/2004..........Rejects
9..........PS22.........3/01/2004.........Accept

the reason for the next line..

3..........PS12.........2/2/2004..........Rejects

Is becuase I am going to graph this data like so...
First, I created a pie chart which I need to graph each indivual segment regaurdless of the reject or accept field.
So here.. I would have a segment for PS12 = 3 and PS22 = 9

The next segment of my pie chart would equal all Rejects of PS between dates specified.

So my pie chart would look like..

PS12 = 3
PS22 = 9

and

REJECT = 3

The numbers 3,9 and 3 come from my first field.

Can you use a UNION query as a recordsource?

I tried and i get an error.. that something is wrong with access and to click close.

thanks for any advice.
