    Unanswered: POSTing data from VB6

    Hi,
I wish to use a 3rd parties website from within my VB program.
Basically it has an input box for a date and a submit button, the site then sends you to the relevant page.

    My question is:
How do I duplicate what the <FORM> tags do on that site in my VB program?
In other words how do I send a date (or any data) to the targeted script via VB?

Thanks to anyone who can help.
    Phil.

I don't understand clearly your question, but in VB to "send" variables to other areas of your program you would use either functions or global variables that can be modified in subs or functions. Does that answer the question?

What Im asking is how do I send a variable for example to a website.
The same way a html FORM would operate on the targetted website.

    For example:
Say there is a form to mail CGI script running on a website.
How would you pass data to the actual form-to-mail script from within VB?
