    Unanswered: Data Page Clustered Ratio

    Hi
    DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO CALCULATE DATAPAGE CLUSTERED RATIO USING SOME SQL COMMAND IN SYBASE. I DON'T WANT TO USE
    "OPTDIAG" UTILITY OF SYBASE.

    I WILL APPRECIATE FOR UR HELP.

    I don't think you can calculate clustering ratio, sybase has some confidential formula to calculate it. The only way is to use optdiag.

    In versions of ASE 12.5.0.3 and greater, there is a builtin function called "derived_stats". That will get you what you want.

    In earlier versions, the calculation is proprietary and (as the function implies) derived from statistics in systabstats. So, unless you can reverse it out, you are on your own.
