    Hello Sudheer,

Can you elaborate what you exactly need and mean to do?
But before that, let me make one thing clear to you:
    1) The purpose of Listener is to allow remote connections to a database present in another location. And unless the listener is in the same server as the database is, no remote connection / connectivity is possible to that particular database.
    2) If you want to access a database in a remote location from a database where you are working on, then also you need to have a Listener depending on the database you need to access and a hoststring through which you can get the accessibility.

But still if you are not clear about this, make an elaborate statement about your requirements so that all the people on the forum can get the point you are looking at.
