    Best solution is following:

    rename 1.1.8 to 1.1.8_old
    create symlink 1.1.8 to 1.3.1

    SK:
To upgradnes pomocou posledneho patchsetu.

EN: Somewhere in metalink is detailed description of JDK upgrade.
I was done it only on iAS so i can't give you exact answer.
But my advice is keep your the database down.
My previous post described JRE updgrade only.
For JRE upgrade use the latest DB patchset.
JDK is located in ORACLE_HOME and you need to change manualy.
