    Angry Unanswered: input mask problem

i am trying to create a mask for a postcode field (UK) there are two formats i need to enter:
    YO123BG
    YO74GH
I know L for letter 0 for numeric that mean you must enter a value.

and ? for an optional letter but is there a symbol for an optional number

    Cheers

Did you try using an extra space? i.e.

    L0L0L0[space]

    Solution!!

After a bit of searching i've found the answer!
if you enter a 9 this gives you an optional entry of a numeric value!
    cheers for the info rami
