Angry Unanswered: Problem when selecting from Oracle via ODBC

I have a "fun" problem.... When I select from a field that contains a float, I get funny numbers.

Even when I look at numbers in a select query they are wrong!
For example 345,2365 will come out as 3452365.

    What am I doing wrong?

It is defined in oracle as NUMBER(15,5).

Maybe I should say that I'm selecting from an Oracle database via ODBC? :-)

    Serverinfo:
    Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.4.0 - 64bit Production
With the Partitioning, OLAP and Oracle Data Mining options
    JServer Release 9.2.0.4.0 - Production

    Access 2000

    ODBC: Oracle Corporation 8.01.07.810

There are three choices on "Numeric Settings":
    Use Oracle NLS Settings
    Use Microsoft regional settings
    Use US Settings

I've tried all three and restarted my comp between the tries.

    Any ideas?

The reason behind this "nice" behaviour was bad ODBC-links....

I relinked all tables today and the problem was gone, did NOT work yesterday.

I mailed my dba on the Oracle database but haven't got an answer yet, but I doubt that there was a problem there.
