Unanswered: formatted text in access (fonts, bold etc)

Can anyone tell me how I can put formatted text into a memo field i.e. bold, underlined, special fonts etc.

I want to cut and paste text from for example a Word doc into this field. No problem with the cut & paste element, just need help re how to maintain whatever format is pasted in.

Also how can I have a carriage return in a field without moving onto next field while in form
    like
    this
carriage returning without going into next field?

    Many thanks

Im not sure that you can alter individual words fonts, colours in a memo/text field.

But I could be proved wrong...

    Sorry

The only way to do that would be to use a RTF control ...

hold the <shift> while entering <carriage return> and this will insert a new line/new paragraph (do twice for a blank line). works in a memo field, and I believe text field also on forms and reproduces these correctly on reports.

Or since this is a textbox control try using the <Ctrl> <Enter> key sequence ...

Again, to retain the color, font, spacing, etc ... a RTF control needs to be utilized ... Plain jane textboxes can't do the job ...
