Question Unanswered: SP query plans in memory

Is there any way to find the number of iterations of a stored procedure in memory and their query plans?

We have a proc that runs fine several times (<2 secs) and then goes and runs for 15 minutes with out any changes in the procedures parameters. We are aware that there can be may causes to this, but we have been burned by a proc with a bad query plan ( from a pervious execution with very different parameters) before and we want to eliminate this as a possibility
