Question Unanswered: Oracle vs. MS Access

    Hi,

I looking for some guru insight here. I'm developing a VB 6 application and I'd obviously like to create the back-end in Oracle instead of MS Access. The only problem I'm running into is .... I'd also like to setup ASP web pages that would query the back-end, however, my company's web server doesn't have the Oracle client nor does it have a DSN setup to the oracle database. If I created an MS Access database I wouldn't have to request to have the oracle client installed on our web server. Ultimately I'm asking .... in terms of system performance, wouldn't it be more efficient to install the Oracle client & DSN instead of query an MS Access database? I'm not a Oracle guru be all means, but we all know the Oracle out performs Access hands down.

Please all insight is greatly appreicated!!!!

    Thanks again!
    -Mark
