Unanswered: Filling out fields of a table with values from another table.

    This is my table structure.

    CustomerTable(one)-(many)TransactionTable(one)-(many)TransactionDetail(many)-(one)Product(one)-(many)Productdetail

This database is basically going to be used for a Point of Sale System. The Form I'm trying to build should show all the relavant information all in one place. I tried putting subform inside a subform inside another subform, but this method seems odd. Is there another way? Also when a user chooses a product on this system, it should grab the price from the product detail table. How do I do that?

There are many ways of doing the same thing.

One idea is to create an updatable query (you need the primary keys of all tables at a minimum). Now build the form on that query.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am really new at using the updatequery function. Are there any samples of using this you can post.
