    Unanswered: Job Management Software

Can someone recommend any good Job Management Software for scheduling and managing batch jobs? I know of Autosys which is a good product in this area. Are there any other similar products available?

Job scheduler of ASE 12.5.1 won't be so specific as Autosys, but it can be useful

I am looking for somthing which offers better functionality in terms of setting up calendars, job dependencies, running enterprise-wide jobs on multi-platform, setting max run times etc.
The ASE 12.5.1 schedule as you mentioned, is quite limited in features.

    tks.

Except for job dependencies, your wishlist is already available in the current release. Job Dependency, I'm told is scheduled either in 12.5.2 IR or one of the MR's onwards.

    Hi,
We are working with control-m from Bmc, it works like Autosys, but i think it΄s better. You can get more information on www.bmc.com.

If you are really interested I could pass to you more information.
