    Question Unanswered: altering stored procedures

I am new to stored procedures and am trying to edit some of the stored procedures in Oracle. What is the best way to do this? Do I have to use the [replace] statement to replace the whole procedure or is there any better way of doing this? I was wondering if I could edit the procedure by opening it in notepad and saving it that way. Is it possible?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

if u r using any of the tool like toad or sql-navigator then you can open it in the Procedure Builder. Or else get the text from all source table and copy it into a notepad.
