Seems that I am running out of luck as regards my browser.
Could you please send me the ISBN number or the name of the book.

Hey, how about SEARCHING on amazon.com under "Oracle OCP"?
    Worked for me.

Anything by EXAM CRAM is not bad.
example: Oracle8i DBA: Backup and Recovery Exam Cram

There is no substitution for work experience.
Most of the answers I knew I could relate to a real-world experience I had.

Also, be ready for ambiguous questions. Many questions start you off
in the MIDDLE of the solution and they want to know what the next step
should be. I found this confusing since most (all?) of the time
you don't step into a problem when it is half-way solved.

For what it is worth, you might just skip the 8i exam and go straight to
the 9i exam since Oracle is already out with 10g. Who knows how long
they plan to support 8i. Just my opinion though ...

I liked these a LOT (but, no, I have not taken the exams).
They're also available for 8i. For details try Barnes & Noble www.bn.com
