Unanswered: Using load module & Dbrm member in another sub system

Can we use load module and dbrm member compiled for one subsystem (os/390, cobol, db2) in another subsystem with out compiling the program?
A linkedit and rebind will do? Any help will be appreaciated

Generally yes. But you need to make sure that your execute JCL and your bind strategy (plan, package, etc.) are in synch.

You just need the COBOL load module and the DBRM, and then do link-edit and bind on the new DB2 sub-system. If the other sub-system is a different DB2 or COBOL version, then there "could be" some issues, but I would check the documentation on that. Obviously, some degree of testing should refine your procedure.
