    Unanswered: Invisible

    Having driven myself crazy, I am now asking for help.

    I have a listbox that shows me Resident Name, Record, Room & physician. I use it as a lookup tool while completing forms (haven't figured out after 5 weeks how to select from combo box and autofil this information.)

    I only need this information visible when adding a new record. Can someone please help me to either set it to visible when a new record is added or change visible/invisible as I click a command button. It is very distracting to have it hanging around all the time.

    Thank you.

    If you want it to toggle visiblity when you click a button, that's pretty simple. In the onclick event:
    Code:
    If listbox.visible Then
       listbox.visible = False
    Else
       listbox.visible = True
    End If

    Thank You

    Great Big Thanks to you.

    If you're warm & fuzzy kisses and hugs, If you're not then hearty handshake.

    This is exactly what I needed.

    ...and on the autofill side:

    private sub mycombo_afterupdate()
    mytextbox1 = mycombo.column(0)
    mytextbox2 = mycombo.column(1)
    'etc
    end sub

    the (index) is zero-based.

    same scheme works for lists
