    Unanswered: Showing dates as Quater in the year,

    Currently I pull my dates using an expression to show like "Q1 2003". Which is doing as it is design to do? But it's pulling every 4 months a quarter.
    How could I change to display every 6 months in a year as a quarter?
    Here's what I got for 4 months;

    ManagementQrt By Quarter: Format$([mytable].[datefield],'\Qq yyyy')

    What I need to do?

    Re: Showing dates as Quater in the year,

    A quarter by defination is 1/4. Since the year is 12 months you will not be able to use the automatic Format variable to get a quarter you will have to write your own function something like this:

    SELECT CASE Month(rs![Open_Date])

    CASE 1,2,3,4,5,6
    MsgBox "Q1"
    CASE 7,8,9,10,11,12
    MsgBox "Q2"
