I have a big problem which has been bothering me for a long time (although I'm actually a database newbie):

Is there a way in Oracle Forms 6i to pass an "opened database session" to a Dll (written in C++)?
Up to now I have used OCI and passed a service context to a external procedures. But this works only, if the procedure is called from the database. Now I want to call the functions of my Dll from a client (implemented with Forms 6i).

I have searched with googles several times, without success. This makes me believe that there is no solution for my problem. Please prove me wrong.

Thanks in advance,
