    Look up in the php docs how to load/enable extensions. However some brief pointers.

    On a windows platform you will need to edit your php.ini file to use your choosen extensions. Find the extensions part of the file. There you will find a list of the extensions that come with the php version. To use any of the extensions all you need do is uncomment the extension and restart the webserver service. To add a new extension you will need to add the *.dll file to your extensions directory and add a line to the extensions sections of the php.ini.

    Here is a part of my php.ini to show what it looks like.
    Code:
    extension=php_gd2.dll
    ;extension=php_ingres.dll
    ;extension=php_interbase.dll
    ;extension=php_java.dll
    ;extension=php_ldap.dll
    ;extension=php_mbstring.dll
    ;extension=php_mcrypt.dll
    ;extension=php_mhash.dll
    ;extension=php_ming.dll
    ;extension=php_mssql.dll
    extension=php_oci8.dll
    ;extension=php_openssl.dll
    In this case only gd2 and oracle (oci8) extensions are used.
