    I saw the output of 'db2licm -l'

    here it its:
    -----
Product Name = "DB2 Enterprise Server Edition"
    Product Password = "DB2ESE"
    Version Information = "8.1"
    Expiry Date = "Permanent"
Registered Connect User Policy = "Disabled"
Number Of Entitled Users = "5"
    Enforcement Policy = "Soft Stop"
    Number of processors = "6"
Number of licensed processors = "6"
    Annotation = ""
    Other information = ""
    ---
I don't see anything indicates abt. db2 connect..

Anybody have any clue if they are running db2 connect and have 'licm -l' output which indicates that.
OR can anybody tell me how do I find by searching binary under /opt/db2..
    related to db2 connect

    thanks!

You can use smit or pkginfo command to list the packages ...

I'm not sure what the package names, but you should be able to make out without much hassle ...

Here is a quote from DB2 Manuls which may help :

Select the components that you want to install. Each DB2 product
CD-ROM provides a file that lists the components available for
installation. Use this list to identify required, typical, and optional DB2
components for the product that you want to install. The component list is
in a file called ComponentList.htm and is located in the /db2/plat directory
on your CD-ROM where plat is the platform that you are installing on.
