    Unanswered: multiple SQL statements in one query?

    I want to store multiple SQL statements in a single query,
    e.g.

    delete * from Table1;
    delete * from Table2;

    (try to save as Query with name ClearTables1and2)

    but get syntax error "Characters found after end of SQL statement".
    I looked up Stored Procedures in Help and was quickly lost.

    Access does not use stored procedures.

    Each query must be a single select statement.

    What you are trying to do can be accomplished in Access by using either a macro or (preferably) a subroutine in a VBA Module.
    If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.
