to quicklearn db2 dba activities on OS/390?

    Thanks in advance,

The two books suggested by Satyaram are both excellent. Read them.

Although not DB2 or OS/390 specific, Craig Mullin's book "Database Administration - The Complete Guide to Practices and Procedures" is also an excellent source of information on DBA must dos.

There is also Gabrielle Wiorkowski's "DB2 for z/OS and OS/390 Development for Performance" 4th edition (2 volumes). Not particularly focused on the DBA but has a bunch of good discussion that DBA would really benefit from. Please note this bookcovers DB2 only up to v7.
