    Unanswered: copy table from oracle to foxpro

    My question is :

    With FoxPro, is it easy to take data from oracle and put it into dbf?

    If you have other solutions, feel free to give me your suggestions.

    Thanks!

    I used this approach:

    FoxPro <--> Access <--> Oracle

    you can lead someone to something but they will never learn anything ...

    Hi,

    Tom Kyte has some PL/SQL code to create and populate an Oracle table from a DBF file.

    With a little tinkering, you should also be able to reverse the process if you need to.

    The DBF file format is widely published - you may have to work around different memo types for Foxpro.

    Please don't email me directly with questions. I've probably just got home from the pub and cannot guarantee the sanity of my answers. In fact, I can't believe I actually made it home.
