    Welcome to the Board!

Are you trying to prevent duplicate entries? If so, this may be of interest: http://support.microsoft.com/default...&Product=xlw2K

If duplicates are ok, but you just want them highlighted, select your data range and Goto Format-->Conditional Formatting-->Formula Is-->=COUNTIF($A$1:$A$33,A1)>1 Then select the Patterns Tab-->Red.

Where A1:A33 represents your range of data.

    Hope that helps,

    Smitty

What you have described is what I am after.

    The ranges are from A1:A204

I have done what you have discribed but it doesnt highlight them.

This if the formula I am using

    =COUNTIF($A$1:$A$204,A1)>1

Then Choose the colour to highlight if the same.

I am trying to highlight peoples names if they are duplicated.

I thank you for your help
