    Unanswered: beginners advice

I'm a localization engineer thinking of moving in the DB field, namely Oracle. I have some programming experience (VB, VBA, C), and have some knowledge of basic DB and SQL concepts. Is there a good beginners book or online resource anyone can recommend, with a mind to becomming a DBA or SQL programmer?

    Many thanks,
