    Is it possable to sort, say By Column A leave C and D And change E F G

    By "leave" you mean that you do not want columns C and D to change? If so, then, no, I don't think you can.

    A work around is to cut columns C and D and paste/insert them either before Column A or after column G, then do your sort, then cut and paste/insert back after Column A.

    Humm. Yep not sure what you trying to do here either.
    Unless it can be better defined. Shades has the answer.
    Cut and paste C&D to another worksheet (verify that you have it posted on another worksheet). That way you don't lose it, if you make a mistake when sorting.
    Then paste it back, post sortation.
