    Hi,

    I have following query from my customer. I don't understand the syntax and also it doesn't works in Oracle. Plz help me. What are these following operators : ^ and @ in Oracle


    select te.days_to from tpt_pl_list_time_entry where 1 = 1
    ^C1^ and pl.owner_id @OP @VAL ^

    I would have to ask the customer that question ... looks like garbage to me

    Hi,

    it looks like this query is being re-worked by the client program before being actually sent to Oracle.

    ^C1^ looks like a token to be replaced by a condition (the 1=1 is usually a dead giveaway for this sort of thing).

    @OP looks like it will be replaced by an operator (=<> etc)
    @VAL looks the the value
