How do i make a validation rule in access which demands that the first letter in a data column is upper case?

As part of the table design? As part of validation prior to update/save? Basically, at what point are you looking for this rule to be enforced?

Well you can give this a shot ...

    Left(FieldNameHere,1)<>UCase(Left(FieldNameHere,1) )

And put it in the Validation Rule of the column in the table design ...
