    Unanswered: Export Access data/report to HTML

    I want to store export from an Access database to html files. Each field of the main table would be one page or one file (like one product per page in a catalog, or one course description per web page)

    I would like to be able to put HTML tags in the text or memo fields, and I have heard that Access's "export to HTML feature doesn't suppor that.

    Any ideas to point me in the right direction? Running Access v. 97 though upgrading to 2000 or higher maybe later this year.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Continuing from my previous post, I tried this--ran a report and then from the print preview using File > Export > Save as type > HTML

    Access turns the HTML tags into special characters, which will not get read as HTML tags.

    <b> becomes &lt;b&gt;
    </b> becomes &lt;/b&gt;

    Any advice on how to keep this from happening so I can embed HTML tags in text/memo fields?

    Thanks,
    Mark
