    Unanswered: Can't start db2cc

We upgraded DB2 UDB from V7.1 to V8.1 on Solaris 8.
db2start and db2 connect are OK, but db2cc give me following error.

    Re: Can't start db2cc

Make sure you have a version of Java that is atleast 1.4.3 Check the documentation for the lastest version for your OS. I had the same problem on AIX, and the Java varsion 1.4.1

    bash-2.03$ java -version
    java version "1.4.2_03"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_03-b02)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_03-b02, mixed mode)

    Thank you quigleyd.
I will install the latest one and let you know the result.

    The problem is JDK_PATH

    db2 get dbm cfg
    the old one is JDK_PATH=/usr/java
    version is 1.2.**

    it should be JDK_PATH=/usr/jdk/j2sdk1.5.0

    Thanks
