Unhappy Unanswered: Clicking inside text box error

"The value you entered isn't valid for this field."

This error happens when I click inside a certain text box that is a read only text box, it seem like it has to do something with focus.

I click inside it in order to open up another form and it works, except that sometimes gives me that error first I click it off and then it goes on doing what is should do, but I can't give it to users like this.

Can i fix it somehow, any ideas.

Thank you to all the people that helped me before

This could be a couple of things.

    1. The Table this form gets its records from, has this field set to a format that you are not entering, eg The text box is linked to a Numeric field and you are typing in a Letter.

    2. Or it could be the inputmask of that text box. Check its properties in form design.

    Hope this helps.
