    Red face Unanswered: db2 udb 8.1 linux ---> db2 os/390

    hi all,

    what ist the best way to trasport pur (table)data from db2 udb 8.1 (linux) to db2 on OS/390?

    there are the same db-structur and objects on both platforms .. "db28.1 on linux with data" and "os/390 without data".

    Hello i think you can use export command
    from the source table and then if the other table is on the OS/390 with the same structure just try to imported it

    Export should be in ixf format only ...

    And for import, AFAIK, you cannot specify a commitcount ...

    Another option to consider would be the crossloader
