I have created a Contact dB for my office. It works great, but of course only runs on machines with Access installed. So I wanted to make it Web-based using Data Access Pages, so anyone could add or update the records.

My problem: If I create even the simplest Data Access Page (DAP) using the wizard or from scratch, it displays each record just fine, but does not allow any editing of the dB. In fact, the Record Navigation bar at the footer has the editing buttons (new record, delete record, etc.) "grayed" out.

According to Access Help, I should be able to edit or add records with a DAP. I must be missing something here. Any help much appreciated.
