    Exclamation Unanswered: external lib problem

    Hi,

    I compiled and created my expernal lubrary:

    CREATE OR REPLACE LIBRARY C_poist_math_Lib IS '/oracle01/app/oracle/Ora92DB/bin/libpoist_math_oracle.so';

    when I try to use it I get the following error:

    ORA-06520: PL/SQL: Error loading external library
    ORA-06522: Unable to find library 'libstdc++.sl.5'.
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.XP_EVAL", line 0
    ORA-06512: at line 5

    Where might be oracle looking for this lib? because I have it on my system. I've tryied to place it in different places with no luck (same as libpoist_math_oracle.so, ORAHME/lib).

    Thanks.

    Does 'libstdc++.sl.5' reside within the LD_LIBRARY_PATH?
    You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
    The average person thinks he's above average!
    For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
    Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.
