Unanswered: How can I tell what the calling program was (in Pl/Sql)?

If I'm in a PL/SQL package.procedure, is there a way I can tell who the calling program was?

I don't want to modify all the calling program(s), but I need logic which makes a decision based on who's doing the calling.

    Thanks very much.

http://asktom.oracle.com has the answer to your question.
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
