    Unanswered: Send email from access

    Hey there all!

I'm sort of new to Access programming and am trying to find out a few things before I getmyself in a DEEP hole...

Is there a way to send email from Access? Even though you might have to build a tempalate so to speak...

Any help would be greatly appreciative...

There are many ways to send eMail from Access.

You have to give us a better idea of what you are trying to do in order to determine which way is best for your application.

    email bummer

Heya! Thanx for the help thus far...

I have a form that displays records etc... What I'm trying to do is create a preformatted email in code or module that will be able to accept the current displayed record, and insert the Name, Account Number, Address. Insert the email address in the To: field. And then it must send it's self...

    Thanx a million...

Follow sublimsos' suggestion and look up SendObject in your Access help system.
