Unanswered: reseting autonumbering to start again from 1

I've been developing a database and adding and deleting records as I've been testing it. Now I want to delete all the test data and get the autonumber /ID numbers to start numbering again from 1. Cant seem to find the right help file on this. Can any one help.

I have a suggestion (Probably a better way somewhere) that works for me.

First copy the table, as structure only. You should get this option when you select 'paste'.

Now Delete the exsisting table with all the test stuff.

Finally rename the table you just created to the same name as the old one you just removed.

Hopefully the first record will now be reset, and on entering data it should be record 1.

Hope that helps, as I couldn't find another way to do this either.
