    Unanswered: sequence in sqlldr

    hi,

    I wanna load some datas from a csv file to database table.

    so here is my code

    LOAD DATA
    INFILE 'D:\Raseena\loader\M1.CSV'
    APPEND INTO TABLE SCOTT.T_ROWS
    FIELDS TERMINATED BY ","
    TRAILING NULLCOLS
    (CR_CODE,ROW_CODE,DESCRIPTION,SEQ_ID SEQUENCE(MAX, 1))

    im here my error is
    ORA-00001: unique constraint (APEXMASTER.SYS_C0038835) violated

    i know thiz is bcoz of sequence.but i dont wanna delete the existing datas in my table ,.
    CAn i set the sequence to be starting from some number in thiz code???

    any help ??

    Plz. read the following

    Cause: An UPDATE or INSERT statement attempted to insert a duplicate key.
    For Trusted Oracle configured in DBMS MAC mode, you may see this message
    if a duplicate entry exists at a different level.
    Action: Either remove the unique restriction or do not insert the key.

    Dear friend
    i wanted to know that is there any other way to give sequence value in sqlldr.

    i meant can i set a starting number to the sequence in sqlldr.
