Unanswered: writing data to a table?

I have created a form that queries information from a table by using a unique number. Yeah.

Now, the user needs to add information to the table that the unique numbers lives in by clicking on a check box or selecting from a combo box. It doesn't matter. What is the best way to write a table with a query and user added information on one form?

    Thank you oh so much!!!!

Do you mean you want to select a value form a Combo Box and write it to the table?

What I finally ended up doing is runing a query on a form by searching with a unique lumber. I added a few text boxes and check boxes that the user can modify and linked a button to that data. After i press the button the user inputed data and origional query number are writen to the table.

It seems to work. The only thing I don't understand at this point is why a -1 is added to the table when I use a check box. Seems like a random number to put in there.

    Thanks

Because -1 is true in a check box, that why you see that value in field of the table.
