    have a cold fusion file and it is like this:

    $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">

    <title>Canine Expenses Report</title>

    <cfreport report = "e:\inetpub\wwwroot\applications\canine\canineExpe nses1.rpt">

    {canineExpenses.DateOfService} between "20040101" and "20040310"

    $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

    Of couse the date of service will be getting from the users. I would like to have the report that only pull out records within the range of date provided. How can I pass it to the crystal. You can provide me the logic of how it works.

    Thanks very much for your help.

    Parmeter fields

    You have to setup a parameter field variable in Crystal and pass that variable to crystal using a querystring value. I do this using ASP and Crystal pulling data from SQL Server 2000.

    I have @LoanID defined as a paramete field in Crystal. When I call the crystal report from the ASP page, I pass it like this:

    Response.Redirec("http://<server name>/<path>/<PageName>.asp?ReportName=<reportName>.rpt&@LoanID =" & fldLoanID & "")

    This fldLoanID is set in my asp page and is then passed to Crystal. Try searching crystal help for Parameter fields.
