    Unanswered: Microsoft Web Browser

As I see many people have the question of how to get a web to show up on an access form. Is their anyone that knows how to do this. The farthest that I have gotten I adding the ActiveX control to the form but there is no way to specify a page on the net or a written html page.

    Help please.

    Re: Microsoft Web Browser

Isn't there a property of your ActiveX control to specify which page it starts on?

Otherwise you can call the shell command to open a new explorer page i.e.

    Shell("explorer.exe http://www.scirocco.ca", vbMaximizedFocus)

lol came across ur topic....yes there is a way to put a web browser in Access...take a look at my screen shot...

in ur form, click on toolbox, and the bottom right, there is that hammer like icon; cick that, and navigate to "Microsoft Web Browser" and add it to ur form. Then in your form.load, add this....assuming u renamed the control to "WebBrowser1"

    WebBrowser1.Navigate "www.dbforums.com/f84"

    voila!

    Cheer!
