Unanswered: Installation problem - Path to .exe incorrect

    Hello,

I recently made another attempt to install MySQL on my machine, but I have run into a problem. If I attempt to start the service, I get an error that says the system could not find the path specified. I looked it up, and the path specified is “C:\FoxServ\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt.exe”, which is incorrect, instead of “C:\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt.exe”, which is the correct path. The only problem is that I don't know how to change that incorrect path to the correct one.

A few replies in other forums I have gotten have stated to edit the “my.ini” file, but every path there is correct, and I am still getting the error.

    Thanks - Paul Jr

Wow... I could give you a hug for that.
It worked like a charm, thank you very, very much!
