hard to suggest without knowing what you are trying to do ..... try crystal reports, that can generate different reporting bar charts
There are 10 types of people in the world, those that know Binary and those that don't.

The only thing I wanna do is to create a chart in the formbuilder, that works
    2.
I tried to create a chart in forms builder, but when I started oracle it doesn`t work. In the I-net I found out that graphics builder is needed.
That was all I found... :-)

So what to do as an oracle-newbie if you wan`t to have a standard chart in a canvas of the forms builder

    hope you understand it now

You'll need to create a chart in graphics. Attach this chart with your form chart item. Call this graphics in your form/reports.
But if you are using 9i, then graphics is not supported. You need to create it in reports itself.

    problem with report builder

So on I started the reports builder
but I get the exception : "REP-118: Unable to create a temporary file" and when I execute my created report this exception returns.

Which file or directory is meant?
    A problem with the access??

Would be nice to get a short answer....
