Unanswered: How to display Image stored in Long Raw Columns

I having problem on read image stored in long raw and convert back to binary format.

Btw. I know the command for open BFILE is DBMS_LOB.FILEISOPEN(variable); but I don't have the command to open LONG RAW.

    Kindly give some advices.

LOBs use locators to point to the data, so you need to use special commands to work with them. (Actually, Oracle should have made the quirks of LOBs transparent to users, but that's another story.)

LONG and LONG RAW store the data in the column itself, just as if you were using VARCHAR2, NUMBER, or DATE formats. You don't need to use special commands to open LONG RAW columns before selecting the data.
